OUR STORY

THE ORIGIN OF BURGERHAUS

Burgerhaus is Indiana’s home for gourmet hamburgers and craft beer. A restaurant with the feel of a neo-European pub, Burgerhaus offers creative burgers, unique salads, and craft beers that take you away from life’s cares and transport you to a relaxing mini-vacation meal.

In the spirit of our noble (and semi-fictional) founder, Sir J.E. Burghstein, we’ve taken a great American tradition and made it international. Our succulent beef patties are a blend of the finest meat cuts and infused with savory seasonings from around the world. Our Haus fries are so good they are accepted as currency in many civilizations.

Explore our unique salads and Haus specials (such as the Galapagos Fish Tacos and Mediterranean Portobello) that can be discovered only at Burgerhaus. Let our friendly and well-traveled tour guides lead you to the most savory destinations on our menu. We are passionate about bringing to your plate the finest flavors from the most remote corners of the map and beyond.
